Each course will have a wiki separate from that of the Learning Professor wiki.

To be a member of our course wiki, you must first join Wikispaces.

Be careful here: Answer "NO" to the question on whether or not you wish to create a new wiki.

Then you can enter the specific class wiki (which is private and protected).

Be sure you confirm your email address (and that it is the same one on our roster). If it links to another email, let me know that fact.

We will use this specific class wiki for your personal page.

You will post your daily reactions on that page.



CREATE YOUR PERSONAL WIKI PAGE

1. Click the plus sign (+) next to the "PAGES AND FILES" link at the TOP LEFT of sidebar.

2. Use the "New Page" link

3. Since our wiki is private, you can use both your first and last name.

4. Click "CREATE"



EDIT YOUR PAGE

1. Click "Edit This Page."

2. Type in your text as you would in a normal word processing document.

3. There are no cut/paste functions on the toolbar. Use edit menu or right-click menu.

4. Your page is Autosaved every minute.

5. Use the SAVE button prior to leaving your page and ending your session.


IF THIS HAPPENS!!

REVERT YOUR PAGE TO A PRIOR VERSION

In case the screen goes blank, don't panic.

You can always revert to a previous version of your wiki page. Note: You must be logged in to revert pages.

1. Click on 'history at the top of your page

2. Select the version you want to go back to by clicking on the revision in the date column

3. Click 'revert to this version' at the top of the page

4. Enter a comment (i.e., lost my data) and click the Revert button.
